A luxury finish
Metallic epoxy uses reflective pigments that create depth and movement. The floor can look like polished stone, flowing water or brushed metal. It is seamless and easy to clean.
Where clients use it
Wine rooms, home theaters, converted garage lounges, art studios, salons and boutiques.
Process
We prepare the slab, apply a base color, pour the metallic layer and shape it by hand. A protective clear top finishes it. For sunlit rooms, a UV-stable polyaspartic top keeps colors from shifting.
Designing your floor
We discuss your room, lighting and decor and make a sample. Champagne and ivory, smoky graphite and deep ocean blue are a few favorites.
How durable is metallic?
Durable for residential use, but scratches show more than on flake.
How long does it take?
Two to three days.
Lighting makes the floor
A metallic floor changes with the light. Under recessed cans in a theater room, it glows in pools; next to a wall of glass facing the canyon, it shifts from silver in the morning to warm gold at sunset. We like to see the room at the time of day you use it most before we finalize colors.
